Biography: Ms. Hauptman has over eight years of broad real estate law experience, with emphasis in directing and assisting in real estate litigation and its settlement, real estate title defect resolution, real estate transactions and disputes, as well as institutional lender foreclosures.  Previously, Ms. Hauptman, as in-house counsel for United General/First American Title Insurance Company, directed and assisted in real estate related litigation, which included reformation, quiet title, access, mechanic’s lien, and bad faith litigation. Ms. Hauptman’s real estate experience includes private practice, where she represented institutional lenders in foreclosures, title issues affecting lien interests, as well as litigation involving lien priority disputes and easements.  She has also represented title agents in real estate closing disputes and construction loan disbursement agreement litigation, as well as property owners in various real estate transactions, including the transfer of unplatted mountain acreage for open space and conservation easements.
